1. Fenway Park

2. Boston Public Garden

Spend a day surrounded in beauty, with over 600 varieties of trees and flowers on site. Located in the heart of Boston, take a stroll and soak up the lagoon, monuments, and fountains that cover the park; or enjoy a Swan Boat ride. Established in 1837, the Boston Public Garden is America’s first public park, and can be enjoyed all throughout the year as you can see it’s even stunning in the winter covered in snow!

3. Museum of Fine Art

Take some time to enjoy the culture and arts Boston has to offer, by visiting the Museum of Fine Arts (MFA). As the city’s oldest, and largest art museum, the MFA is famous for its Impressionist paintings, Asian and Egyptian collections, and early American art.

4. Freedom Trail

Travel along a 2.5 mile journey, which will help re-tell the story of the American Revolution. Enjoy an organized tour, or walk the Freedom Trail on your own: as you can see from the photo the route is red-lined, easy to follow and covers 16 sites pertaining to the war. Stops include: museums, meetinghouses, churches, and burying grounds.

5. The South End

If you are looking for an amazing culinary and shopping adventure, than take a break from exploring Boston, and visit this incredible neighborhood. Experience some of Boston’s best restaurants, cafes, and retail stores.

6. Harvard Square

One of the top universities in the United States, Harvard Square provides visitors a sneak peek into the daily lives of students, and university life. The campus is the perfect venue for a nice walk on a beautiful day, a picnic, or a coffee. Soak in Harvard’s history, and visit the Memorial Church, or one of the many museums located on site. This excursion can be a half or even full day trip during your Boston stay.

7. Boston Public Library

More than just for book worms, the Boston Public Library (BPL) organizes thousands of programs, services, and exhibitions all throughout the year, and is free to the public. Founded in 1848, BPL has been at the forefront of American library history through many ‘firsts’: the first large municipal American library, the first library in the United States to lend books, the first to have a branch library, and the first library that offers a room devoted to kids.

8. Prudential Tower

This magical skyscraper is one you can’t miss while visiting Boston and has a lot to offer tourists. The Skywalk section is an observatory area that provides visitors with a total 360 degree viewpoint to snap pics of the beloved city. The building also has an audio guide that you can listen to that is available in a few different languages. The building is also a hotspot for shopping and dining inside if you’re visiting on a cold day!

9. Boston Harbor Islands

A fun and comfortable ferry ride will take you to explore the beauty and unique adventure that this National and State park has to offer. Boston Harbor Islands consists of 12 differing islands and peninsulas where you can explore, camp, partake in water sports, and so much more. Boston Harbor Islands hosts many concerts, live events, and festivals – so the opportunities for fun are endless. Please note: ferry service is only available from May to October throughout the year.

10. New England Aquarium

What a lovely place to take your whole family to enjoy! It is home to a wonderful collection of sea life from a giant pacific octopus, to a shark and ray touch tank. There is an amazon rainforest exhibit, marine mammal center, and interesting sea dragons to watch. It’s an affordable, educational adventure for all ages.
